...So what bodies do alot of you guys prefer? I'm looking for one that will make the car easy to drive since I'm gonna be new to driving them. Looking for something that will keep the rear planted and make the steering predictable. Thanx for the input. The car is coming with the 2 bodies shown, not sure what the difference in the two shells is handling-wise. Just glad to have something new to stare at besides a mazda6

speed 8 is by parma and is IMO the best body for stock.

Parma Speed 8 equals enough downforce with plenty of steering. Good for stock. I stand corrected.

Speed 8 is not the maximum downforce, thats why it is best for stock.
Speed 12 has more downforce and is best suited for Mod.
Speed 12B is a happy medium between the 2 of them and is very good for 19t and stock. I am by no means fast, but I like the 8 or 12B for Stock or 19T.

I think the Protoform speed 12 looks better, but your tire diameter had better be on the small side. The body is meant to run so low, that anything over 1.72 or so fronts really rub. The speed 8 is a little long for my liking, and that big greenhouse looks kinda funny to me too. They have both performed nearly equal for me in stock, but I like the 12 for mod. Get a couple of both, because they probably won't last that long. I've made some a-mains at national races, and I rarely get more than a few weeks out of a body, but I don't add a bunch of stuff to reinforce it either-or run a bumper.

I picked up a speed 12 (not 12b) on the recommendation of a racer at my LHS. Seems for 19t on asphalt it is commonly used; since I dont think it will last long I'll try it then a 12b later. Heres a pic before the thrashing begains (have'nt even received the car and I have already painted a shell for it, must be anxious to to turn some laps )
