Hi Nimo,

Can you post few images of the rear of your 05R? No matter how I adjust my rear with RRR hub, I am getting no less than 200+mm. Also, are you using the front wheel axle in the back?

Thanks.

I drove my friend's V1RRR this last saturday (I have yet to have time to build mine) for a few laps. Compare to the FW-05R, my initial impression is that the V1RRR feels lighter than the FW and more nimble but not as stable. Physically, the car is probably 100g lighter so that makes quite a bit of difference.

Default IT has arrived!

The FW-05 and it's pretty red box are on my floor awaiting their build.

Come with he special sponge tires, oh joy!

Tower seems to have the cheapest price on the 37t gear. At least in the states. Anyone get it in the states under $30?

I have a pal heading to Japan in 2 weeks. Sending him a small list.

Front wheel axles and front drive shafts, still plenty clearance to fit Nitro Shoes 30mm 0 offset foams.

OK sounds good. Let's nail down the arrangements for a convoy there after the club race this weekend.

Now the bad news. How long does it take to drive from where we are? Man ... will have to wake up early on a Sunday?!

Ziggy, where are you going on the 12th? Tibby right? How far is Tibby from AMCC?

Ooops! Almost sound like I'd better stay at AMCC!

Nah, good fun to go to other tracks within dozy distance .. so Brookland it is.

Depends on the track but the full diff setup will work anywhere, big, medium, small. Fill up the front diff with 300k diff fluid(diff lock) and the rear with 10,000 for a big track. You will lose some on power steering with the diff setup. In my opinion the diff setup is very easy to drive and very forgiving with the 4 wheel braking.

The one-way will make you faster on a big track and fast flowing corners really set the one-way apart from the diff setup. Setup is crucial and the car can feel like it's on the ragged edge is your setup is off.

If you are confident with your driving skills and others cars are using one-ways succesfully then go with the one-way, just pay attention to setup.
