Thumbs up Best 13.5 Brushless motor for 2wd Buggy and Truck

I looking for input on a 13.5 brushless motors for buggy and truck class. Perfomance and gearing. I am currently running a B4.1 Buggy and looking for good all around motor for it. Truck class is coming back to so any info would be great.

I just installed a Novak 13.5T system in my B4.1 buggy. Geared it at 26/75..
It ran great. Was fast. not to much wheel spin had enough go for the track. temps were at 130/135

Very easy system to use. Do not need a laptop, which I like and it gets the job done

I also ran a Reedy 3300kv motor that came in my SC10RS and it was FAST

LRP. Super fast motors compared to everything else I've ran. They run a little hotter, but are still fantastic motors.

Default novak or nothing. Maybe?

i run novak right now, the ballistic kind. I have never had a problem, i gearing mine and Will be gearing mine for a larger indoor track 100 foot straight i think with 75 28, i ran 31 but i like to practice for at least 10 min so the 31 makes it a little to hot, around 170s after 10 min, after 6 min main it was 150. O yea no boost on stock spec lrp, full motor.

I may go reedy...I hear alot of good things and I think you can buy new inserts like novak also!

I run a Tacon 13.5 and 78/24 gears in my b4 and love it. Previously I ran a novak havok 10.5 and spent more time spinning the tires than anything. I also seem to have way more top end now.

If you have an opportunity, check out Murfdogg Synergy Motors at www.murfdogg.com or on their RCTech thread. You wouldn't be dissapointed!

I love my Epic D3 motors. I run a 7.5 in my SC10 and a 10.5 in my 22. Very smooth, lots of punch, and they play really nice with my speed passion esc's.

Fantom Apex motors are smooth and run cool, I am impressed with them.

Tekin RS/Redline 13.5T combo is pretty good. I'm running it geared at 30/75 and am having no issues keeping up with the bigger motors at SDRC in mod buggy.
