Default How much should it weigh?

I just wanted to know what the weight of an electric touring car should be. What is the legal limit for most competitions?
Thanks

for foam tire carpet racing, it is often only 50 or 51 ounces.

1500 grams (1,5 kilos) ready for the track at most races. Not including transponder.

Something I think is interesting. RCCA was testing some touring cars in latest issue. Just the cars, not including electronics, tires, wheels or bodys, were from just under 500 to more than 700 grams.

Did they also measure weight of rotating parts like diffs etc.?

I "believe" the ROAR rules stipulate 53oz for rubber and 51oz for foam equiped cars.

Check www.roarracing.com and go to Rules page 47. Says 1525g including transponder.
