The 25.5 stator for the Ballistic motors is available from Novak directly via the Shopatron system. Part number is S663X, price shipped is $42.64 (34.99 plus $7.65 shipping, guessing CA residents will have to add tax). I BELIEVE Novak 2 indicated they will sell an entire 25.5 Ballistic motor to-order as well for folks that don't already have Ballistic motors to add the stator assy to.

I really like the new ESC rules. I went to a Tekin to avoid getting run over on the straights by wild cars. With everyone in the same boat now, that won't be a problem.
If another mfg submits an ESC with non-adjustable timing, will it be allowed?
And, how exactly is this motor exchange going to work with Novak?

That link is their current exchange program. Hopefully we will get the full lowdown shortly.
Right now i don't see anyone making anything without some timing advance in it, and no way to externally program the esc.

You could add to the ESC list the original LRP Sphere #80500 and the Novak XBR. They're out of production, but I'm sure there are many of them still out there somewhere. There's even one website that is still selling Novak Super Sport Plus's. I've also got a Chinese GTB knock-off from a company called "EC Power", but I'm not sure how "real" this company is. Probably not worth including.

Then again we have a 5.0 fdr rule at our track. When we all start running 25.5 with a 4.0 fdr and see motor temps of 150 again you are probably right.
