Default Good truck

My first nitro was a Kyosho USA-1 Nitro Crusher, still in good working order. You're smart to clean up the carb, make sure you get the needle seat clean. Every once in a while you can get something in there or break off the needle by tightening it to much before readjustment. But 95% of my problems starting an engine over the years were traced back to the glow plug. Either it was burnt out or more often I simply forgot to put a fresh charge on my glow igniter. Your TMaxx may have the onboard igniter, I'm not familiar enough with that truck to know. If it does, I'd clip the wire and invest $20 in a regular glow igniter. Kind of the "keep it simple" theory. I've seen several people get really frustrated only to find out the onboard glow igniter was burnt out. Well, that's just general nitro advice. I'll leave everything else to the guys that know this truck. Have fun.

The igniter side of the ez starter starts having probs sooner or later - with both of mine, I replaced the wire and used a separate igniter when the igniter side went out. Still use ez starter, just don't use it to light the plug. Get stronger starts this way too.

Hope it starts right up - Tmaxx was my 1st ground vehicle of any kind and was a blast. Have fun!
