'15-'16 HobbyPLEX Winter Onroad Series!!!
Summer is coming to an end, it's time to get ready for the HobbyPLEX Winter Onroad Series!!! We finally have our schedule worked out and it'll be six races with your best five counting toward the final championship.
Dates:
October 11
November 8
December 13
January 10
February 7
March 6
Classes: MINI - TCS Specs, VTA & USGT - USVTA Specs, Formula 1 - UF1 Specs, 17.5 1/12th & 17.5 TC - ROAR Specs
Entry Fee: First class - $20, Additional class - $10, Junior drivers (12 & under) - $5/class
Doors open @ 8AM, Practice until 11AM, Qualifying @ 11:30AM, Racing begins @ 12:45PM
We've run different formats between classes the last two years but this year, we're going to return to the "RACING" format we used three years ago for all classes. First round is an open qualifying session, with your fast five lap average seeding the mains. TQ will be worth 2 points! Three "heads up" races to determine the overall winner and each class will use a unique points system.
**Mini, 1/12th & 17.5 TC will all use the "Triple A" format, best 2 of 3 on points, tie-breaker total time.
**VTA will count each race as an "A" main and add up the points at the end with 150 being a perfect score. Race #1 will start inverted, race #2 will start inverted from the race #1 finish, race #3 will start inverted from the race #2 finish. "A" mains will be 8 minutes and lower mains will 5 minutes.
**USGT will count each race as an "A" main and add up the points at the end with 150 being a perfect score. Race #1 will start on qualifying order, race #2 will start inverted from race #1 finish, race #3 will start on qualifying order. All races will be 6 minutes.
**UF1 will count each race as an "A" main and add up the points at the end with 150 being a perfect score. Each of the three races will start on qualifying order and run 6 minutes.
Points will be best 5 of 6 with the finals in March multiplied by 1.5 for the final points!!
Check the dates and clear your calendars guys!! Should be a FUN season of racing, don't miss out!!!!
Any questions or comments?

Sounds great! I've added these dates to my calendar.
Also, will the regular Wed racing be going this fall and winter?

Emerson is racing mini!

Had a few people ask about running 17.5 instead of 13.5 for 1/12th scale and would like to get some feedback before I make a decision.
Thanks,

I will run either one. What ever gets more 1/12 scale cars on the track is what I want to run.

For Trans Am, it says USVTASpec.
Is that true or are you changing anything?
