Default xxx-t vs t4 rtr rs vs losi desert truck

where does each stand?

I thought my xxxt-cr was a nailed down choice until the local guys say the track never runs buggies, and the other runs stadium trucks more as well.

SO....

-xxx-t, what does it have above the rest aside from being a build it yourself kit?

-t4 rtr rs will be ran as is for a little until i can drive better except it will get a dx3s radio setup. aside from that and maybe tires it will run as is.

-desert truck, never really considered it until a local guy said to based on him buying one for his 15 year old daughter or neice i forget. handles real well, took the track nicely, and was just a blast to drive.

so which would you choose....and why? i say the t4 because of parts with the xxxt in second and desert in 3rd. that is solely based on parts though. I just haven't seen many for the desert truck, but may be that some are interchangeable. the other two i can get rather easy if something were to break.

the final setup for a while would be:

dx3s
novak ebk 13.5 brushless/esc combo
and some servo thats undecided right now. probably a JR 9000.

where would you look?

Its the griver not the car. I have been racing with the "CR'' for a year know i its been coming in 7th. Now in carpet there is a diffrent guy who has a ''CR'' and i been beating him. Trust me its the driver not the car. IMO i would get the T4.

My biased opinion. XXX-T CR. I drove a T4 RTR and it was nothing special.

The CR and T4 are both great trucks and very competitive in the right hands . I prefer the CR , but it`s all personal preference .

RTR it may not be, but with new motor/electronics down the line, would it be equivelent to the xxx cr? the CR is a good 30 dollars more I believe, and the t4 is rtr outta the box where i could learn to drive "slow" then movie up later..

just asking questions, not doubting anyone.

I would get a T4. out of the box, they arent set up the best, but you can use different set ups or ask people at you track how their's is set up. and you can also upgrade it to factory team. I got a B4Rs and have already changed a bunch of stuff, and its awaiting a novak GTB/17.5, which should be coming in at the lhs today.

I think its just stupid when people buy the RTR and have to swap all the electronics with good ones. On top of that you got a RTR version of a T4 or B4 which is plastic, no threaded shocks, and no aluminum turnbuckles. If you spend a lil more you get a'lot more!

Speed-T? It's just a XXX-T with a Spool from the factory. Has the longer chassis like the CR as well. I'm converting one to run Mod Stadium truck as well.
