I would look for higher than 12c. That would make a big difference in acceleration and top speed. I run 30c and its great.

(8000 mAh / 1000) x 12c = 96 continuous amps, those should be good to go for it.

It should easily hit 45, never ran a brushless until today, finally put a VXL in my Slash, but 3s + MMM = tons of speed and power.

There is a lot more flexibilty when running a 4S setup than a 6S setup. Because of the high capacity and C rating those should be ok to run providing they'll fit the batt compartments.

Its the batts for 6S setup they get real picky about warning that "When using 3S packs cell quality is very important. Recommend packs with minimum 25C or better".

4S should put you in the 34-37 range speed wise. I'd start with stock gearing and see what kind of temps batts and motor pull. You're planning on the CC combo with MMM and 2200kv motor?

Only setup probs I've ever had with a CC esc were always with FM, never AM. What I usually do is get everything up and working on AM using a spare TQ3 radio/rx from a Tmaxx and then after running it a little, convert to FM since I want to run everything I own with a single radio.

You plans should be good.
