You will have to greatly cool those motors because they are 50MM. They dont create the torque that a 70mm+ motors do. The "L" size Feigao motor are 60MM which might be OK but I have never used them so I couldnt tell you how much more torque the 10MM will give you.

That might help with the heat but you will still have to keep an eye on your amp draw. If your batteries are getting too hot you will have to go to 3S. No way around that.

Motors dont have designations. Boat, car, plane, they are pretty much interchangeable as long as the wattage is reletively the same. They are for sale on a boat specialty web site but their application is universal.
FYI, "boat" motors need to have high torque, not high RPMs. It takes allmost double the power to move a boat on water than a car on dirt. So if it can move a boat it will more than move a buggy. VXL might get too hot because its only a 50mm can. Not enough torque, IMO. And it might over heat your 2S LiPo and kill it, or even worse catch on fire.
You can use a Mamba Max ESC for what you are trying to do. The monster is used in high voltage applications where you need oer 100 continues amps. The Max put out no more than 100. Rule of thumb is that you use only 70% of the rated amperage.
Most people use lower KV rate dmotors and get the speed desired by using high voltage. You, are trying to do the oposite. It will work. Its juts not that common.

There is no such designation as a "1/10" scale motor or a "boat" motor. You have 380 size which are most commonly used in 1/18 scale.
Most cans used in 1/10 scale are 36MM roundx50MM long. But you can use up to a 80MM long can motors in a 1/10 scale monster truck like a Revo or Emaxx to get you the torque necessary to move the bigger RC.
1/8 scale motors are usually bigger than 40mm round and bout 70mm long. It seems huge but the KV is relatively low when compared with a 36x50mm 9000KV Mamba motor which generates hardly any torque and is all RPMs. The speed in 1/8 scale is generated by using higher voltave battery packs.
I cant tell you what motor to use. I can lead you in the rite dicrection and from there on out its up to you.
