I planned to get the Neu 1515 1y/f brushless motor along with MMM esc. I was just told but a guy at brushlessmonsters.com that with that setup I would have shorter than expected run times and high temps. Iam new to 1/8 so I need a little advice on what set up would be good.

I plan to race it but not for a while. I will be needing some practice........only have experience with 1/10 2WD.

I'll chime in. I'm running a FT RC8T with the AE conversion, MMM, Neu 2200, 14/50, 4s. It's pretty dialed.
