If you buy TLR243022 and TLR243021 they do not come with springs. Unfortunately 15mm springs will not fit.

I am running TLR243019 rear spring and TLR243015 front spring and they are great on a medium sized track with low to medium bite. If anything I might go a step heavier TLR243016 in the front for a slightly larger more open track but I think that is it.

Thanks for the info. I will get both sets just to be safe. Appreciate it. Our track is pretty open. Huge air. Do you know of any CSI pistons that will work??? I was thinking maybe the Kyosho 16mm would??? I didn't see any Losi 16mm.

I have been satisfied with the stock pistons and have not really looked into options but I will see what I can come up with.

I cant find any definite info. So like you I will most likely just run them stock. I have the CSI blue's in my 15mm and now I am stuck on there performance. Thanks..

Mine is going to be electric from the start, although I don't think I'm getting mine until the end of the month. I missed out on the first batch ordering. I'll definitely keep an eye on this thread and participate in the discussion.

I have done both and prefer electric. It's just easier to maintain.

If you have time to maintain your rig in race form then nitro is my recommendation! You have to love hearing 30,000 rpm's screaming down the front stretch

Having three kids put Rc into perspective....that and there is something to be said for plugging in a battery and hittin' the track!

Looks cool Wheelman, but you need to support your motor wires so that they don't rub on the rear drive shaft. You would be amazed how fast a smooth metal surface can wear through wire coating.

Nitro is fun but can be frustrating. You need to be a good wrench with some time to spare if you are going to have fun at nitro. There is no half assing it. All or nothing. Electric is much easier. Plug in and go! You can spend much more time with setup.
Thanks, I soldered this speed control and motor combo up over a year ago through more than 100 packs in my Losi 2.0B then my RC8.2E and now 20 packs into the TLR 3.0 with no issues and no sign of wear. Thanks though.

Tip to anyone building a new kit. Don't use the shock oils provided in the kit. The oils in the kit are 10-15 wt more than want is on the tube. I ended up with 37.5 in the front and 30 in the rear and it is feeling pretty good right now after about an hour of run time.

The steering on the 3.0 is better than the 2.0 in every aspect. On and off power, entering the corner, in the middle and on exit. Lovin' it right now. Just need some more wheel time. It drives very different than any 1.0 or 2.0 I have had before.
