bellcrank vs. rack
Can anyone exlain the differences? I'm running the XXX-CR.

The ackermann is also different for the bellcranks. The rack is a reverse ackermann setup.

Rack = reverse Ackerman = when the front wheels start to turn you will notice that the wheels are TOE-IN during the whole steering throw
Bellcrank = pro Ackerman = when the front wheels start to turn you will notice that the wheels are TOE-OUT during the whole steering throw

Rack is more consistent threw the turn.

ahhh..... yes and no (depends on where you are in the turn)
Toe IN = Less steering at corner entrance, More steering at corner exit (this is why you get "Stability in the form of push" but this would be on corner entrance)
Toe OUT = More steering at corner entrance, Less steering at corner exit (this is why you get "Twitchier in the form of more steering" this would again be at corner entrance)
Don't forget, the more steering you add for corner exit will make the rear of the car feel looser (less rear traction). It's all about F/R traction balance. So, a loose rear end of the car (assuming tires are correct, etc.) could very well be fixed by the front of the car; in this case less Toe out (or more Toe-In... however you want to say it ) Just to make things more confusing for thsoe new to car set-up, etc.
One question I do have for those that are intimately famillar with the rack and cranks is this:
Which one gives the outside wheel the sharpest angle of attack when at full steering lock?
Or, are the outside wheels at the same angle between the rack and the cranks at full lock?

toe out will yeild more initial steering and less thru the middle and out.
toe in will smooth out the initial steering and have more midle and out.
