I just hope it isn't like the t3 where you have to do the dnc setup to get it to work, the dnc diff fluids are not for me either. So I had an extra 4-6 hours trying to get my truck decent(not to mention 75 bucks in mugen parts)

4wd tech for durabiliity has come a long way so i wouldn't be surprised that it should be much more durable.

I can guarantee you will not be putting mugen parts on the B64.

Only weak spot on the B44.3 were the front arms but when they did the running change to the three hole front arm with different plastic, the breakage was reduce dramatically. My maintenance is to clean it up and refresh the oil on a regular basis. 4wd is not a maintenance intensive as some make it out to be. But with that said, I'm so ready to retire the B44.3 and move on to this beauty!

Ok well since we cant get into side topics about GPs monopoly on the hobby, can we maybe not waste 3 more pages about Tower Hobbies discount?

Just preordereat Tower with the awesome coupon code.
Am I right that this coupon is valid? I kinda cant read it between the lines.
The car is 450€ (so 470 bucks) here in germany and its way cheaper to order it in the US

If you have questions about coupon codes or how they work ask the company that you ordered it from. This thread is about the car not what coupon code is best.

As for the kit, my single biggest wish is that the front arms are stronger than the 44.3 without having to get RPM arms
On Facebook AE said this kit is much stronger. You can tell just by looking at the arms how much thicker they are.

Besides, ae updated the b44.3 front arms a long time ago, but people didn't know.

They do look beefy. I would assume that would be one of their primary concerns being that the first big criticism of the B44 line up was the arms.

I think a lot of people knew, but already had RPMs by that time.

On another note, I was wondering about a slipper/ball diff option. so decided to do some comparing. The center diff seems to be an all new part, with a new spur. So more than likely the B44 slipper might not just drop right in.

It starting to look like I am gonna have to live with gear diffs in this car.

What about the carpet edition they have yet to release and the extra chassis holes that have yet to be explained? Could be ball diff, slipper or something?

Yeah, but I would think that the dirt version would have been slipper/ball. I think the extra holes will be just to move the center fore and aft for carpet use.

That's what I thought based on 2wd buggies, but I asked some high level sponsored-very-experienced guys and they said in 4wd you want gear diffs for dirt clay mix.

At this point I got all my wish list stuff plus a couple of extras with this kit, so I'm excited.
