I used to have one, so let's see how much I remember 
I think you hold down the set button until the light changes (setup mode). Then press it once to set neutral, pull the trigger and press it again to set full throttle, and I think you can figure out the rest.
To disable/enable reverse, I think you hold down the button as you turn it on.
