I purchased an mrx4x clutch for my SH engine and had to dremel the chassis on my mrx4r to get clutch bell cearance.

You can find it on the Mugen website. Its the rollout chart you are after. I think its under setups.

can any one help....How to measure/read the clutch setting?? or setup tips??
ANy tips or advice would be great....how to measure end play and clutch spring

Quick Questions guys, was the tallest gearing made for the MTX4R that i can buy from mugen??? i dont use my mugen on the track i just mess around with it in a huge parking lot and im looking to get more speed


anyway one know the biggest pinions and smallest spurs combo made for the mugen??

1st gear ... pinion 16 17 18 spur 58 59 60
2nd gear ... pinion 21 22 23 24 spur 52 53 54

ps ... you are in the wrong thread!!!

Unless of course you mean the MRX4R then it will be...

1st gear ... pinion 16 17 18 spur48 49 50
2nd gear ... pinion 19 20 21 spur 45 46 47

I have the MRX-4R i was jsut noticeing the newer X use's 0.8 MOD gearing versus the older model (one i have) that uses 1.0 mod

is this right???

MRX 4, MRX 4R and MRX 4X, all uses the same pinion and spur gears, which are all 1.0 pitch.

Are you confusing the MTX4 (1/10), which uses 0.8 gearing with the MRX4 (1/8)?

Man im just all around CONFUSED all these DAM LETTERS AND NUMBERS couldnt they have just NAMED the car something.......ARRGG......


anyways the car i have is a MRX4R which uses 1.0 mod gears, I WAS TOLLED BY SOMEBODY that the new MRX4X use's 0.8 mod gears which i now know is not true

Now i know what gears i need to look for i know i confused you and others but trust me I WAS MORE CONFUSED!!!!
