I wouldn't compare a Serpent 710, or Kyosho Fw-05R or Trinity G4 with a Schumacher or HPI.
And why is that?

The stock 710 can be a little overgeared for most tracks. The stock gearing suites most of the largest of tracks. I mean if you gear both car similarly, I would think you'll end up pretty much about the same speed.

It's not a matter of which car is faster at the end of the back straight. It does not make sense. Similar engines would yield similar results on different cars as long as their end result of the gearing and tire rollout are the same.
D, don't be so defensive when it comes to the 710. I was merely responding to the suggestion that the center conversion is needed for the car to be fast. Of course we are not racing for top speed but the myth about FW05R having no top end is just not true.

As for the size of silverstone, I don't know where mordor is so I have no local track point of reference. But of the different tracks (KZ, Revelation, SoCal, Tamiya in LA and silverstone in Taipei) I have ran, it is definitely on the large end. In fact, it's just slightly smaller than KZ and about twice as big as revelation.
