Losi 1.0 fronts all around with shortest shaft. No shock limiters.
Front - RCFORLESS.com yellow springs ,54 pistons, 80 weight associated oil
Rear - RCFORLESS.com silver springs, 55 pistons, 60 weight oil

I've stayed pretty close to Kai's setup so far. Putting the radio and power in it tomorrow.

65 grams is about 2.3 ounces. It's really more about the chassis stiffness - can't beat CF.

Glad to see that she's coming along! Looks great Clay! I'm certain you will like the way she handles. You'll notice the acceleration/efficiency of the drivetrain immediately. I believe it's faster, has longer run times and will run cooler than your previous setup. I think your other cars will become your bashers.

Can't wait till Corona. If Tony comes, we'll have 4 losi's battling to take the title back from SNR! He's been on a mission lately. I hope to find some speed before our next meeting.

Nope the CupRacer has left the building!
But a friend has bought it from the guy i sold it to.

I have an GT2 projekt in the starting blocks!
Just waiting for my Dragon Racing chassie plate to arrive.
This projekt is a little bit mad because I built it from scratch with options parts.
And an unpainted Corvette body.

Here is the first order i got for the projekt.

Any how I'm 15 mins from corona and would like info on the track to stop by. Is it out door or indoor? And a nitro roller will work or do I need the Losi l8ight model with added parts? I'll keep searching info but thought I'd check in with you guy first.

Thanks
Titan
if u get a tekno rc kit and the 2 L8ight shock towers and a 2.0 buggy your good to go!!

Used the Losi 8 1.0 front shocks all around, Losi -E conversion, Losi 8 Late Model front and rear body mount and front bumber setup. I moved the body posts inward on both mounts to stiffen them up and put the body clips in good spots. Trimmed off the excess on the body mounts too.

I converted a 1.0 with Losi's E Conversion.

Being that you're so close to Corona, you should come out next month on the 3rd sunday. We should have about 3-4 of the losi conversions running. Hope to see/race with you. Good luck with your build.

For springs I went with RC4LESS's Short Springs for the Losi. They are shorter than the shortest Losi springs, and do not put a bunch of preload on the shocks in order to get the desired ride height. Not to mention they are a perfect fit and work awesome!

Below are the parts you need from the L8ight. Prices pulled from www.losipartshouse.com

(1) front shock tower LOSA1717 (alu) $14.93 or LOSA1718 (graphite) $24.99
(1) rear shock tower LOSA1738 (alu) $15.95 or LOSA1739 (graphite) $31.95
(1) set of front shock bodies LOSA5401 $24.89
(2) front shock shafts LOSA5411 $7.95
(1) front bumper set/body mounts LOSA4466 $9.95
(1) front bumper (foam) LOSA4467 $10.95
(1) Your choice of body, wheels and tires.
