Mike,

Are you talking about the cartridge that goes in the shock, if yes then take your time push it in straight and make sure it gets to the bottom. Push something carefully down on top of it but don't brake it obviously. Once in and you assemble the shock shaft there should be some small amount of resistance from the o ring and the shaft. Just a little mind you.

the seal thing im talking about is that black piece you put onthe shaft then you put the o ring then the black spacer then but it in the shock, the black seal reatainer is pretty tough to get in, once i get it in a bit i just pull the shaft through with some plyers over a cloth so it pulls the black piece and the o ring and spacer to the bottom?? i did that but i feel a littl resistence, its probably the fact that there is no oil intheir yet...let me know if im right or wrong
thanks

Default screw

I've seen on Juho his car on the LRP masters that the screw that connects the motorpod with the leftbulckhead is missing....
Why?

The seal retainer will be a snug fit. There should be very little resistince to the shaft movement at this point.

Default Setups

Hello Brent (51),

Could you please post some setups from the Nats @SIR. I am looking for some mod setups like from Rick or Ryan. The team looked very good at the race and everyone sure looked very fast and competitive. I know of at least 2 people switching brands over to the TC5, maybe more.

I hope to get a full report up next week. Things have been crazy this past month. The easiest one to update is Cavalieri's. It was the same as the Reedy Race, except .5 mm more ride height, 1 mm more droop and no o-rings on the top deck. I fact we didn't even rebuild the diff or shocks from the Reedy Race...it never seemed necessary.

Picking up the TC5 as my first eletric TC, but ive been a Nitro TC guy for quite awhile. I noticed that it comes with a 48P spur gear. I have alot of 64P stuff for when i run 1/12 in winter. Will I be able to use my 64P stuff on the TC5?
