servo woes
I bought a Spektrum digital servo, thats what they recommended at the hobby shop. I told them I had a DX 2.0 system. Got all the electronics in my newly built FT SC10 tonight and the steering is all wacky. Its twitchy, cutting in and out etc. I called my friend and he said my 2.0 system is not compatible with the digital servo.
the guys at the hobby shop know I'm a retard, I dont know why they sold it to me.
anyway, whats a good non-digital servo? I paid $80 for the Spektrum, so I need one in that price range.
I would like around 150oz of torque and 1.0 or less speed.

A digital servo should work with a DX2.0. I suspect the servo is attempting to draw too much power from the BEC function of the ESC, pulling the voltage down too low for the receiver to work correctly.
What ESC and motor do you have?
Try adding a capacitor to the receiver. It will help stabilize the voltage. Commonly called a glitch buster, stutter stopper, etc. A couple of options:

so I took the car in today. The guys said I can program the servo to have 6 volts going to it with my castle link. problem is he's an airplane guy and you can only do that with the airplane systems. Long story short, they ordered me one of those capacitors and basically verfied thats the issue.
thanks for your help

I ordered a capacitor 2 weeks ago and it finally came in today. It was exactly what I needed, thank you.
