If you have not seen the videos on Youtube from the "Psycho Nitro Blast" this past weekend....you really need to check it out. They ran a 1-hour main on that track!! Just search for "psycho Nitro Blast" on Youtube if you are interested.

Is that the kind of track we are thinking about?!

I know someone that went to that. They started qualifying at 8:00 am. My buddies first qual was at 11:00 am, his second was at 7:00 pm, and his third qual was at 4:30 am Sunday morning. He overslept and missed his third qual and ended up going home as his main wasnt going to be until 9:00pm Sunday

He said the 24 hr practice killed the track. It was blown out when he got there around 5:00 pm Friday and they never did any maintenance all weekend. He said people were really grumpy lol

Huh, I heard the opposite, lol. Russell Jones from Racefactor Industries went, he really liked it a lot. (But he likes rough tracks.) He said the jumps were great because they didn't deteriorate at all, so you could still clear everything, even once the track was blown out. He said the ventilation was an issue, to the point where cars' tunes were all over the place with all the fumes/smoke they were sucking through.

I just posted the info about the PNB as I heard about the race, and the jumps from that track were kinda crazy. It has nothing to do with the Gas Blast!

If I knew I'd tell ya. What I can tell you is that I was just out there tonight and the traction will be awsome. The dirt is a very dark brown clay base. It packs very well and should hold up like no other track ever has. I'm guessing that a holeshot or bowtie type of tire will be the ticket.
