Default Duratrax DX8R-E

Did anyone notice this news:
http://www.liverc.com/news/new_produ...E_18_buggy%21/

No details available yet, but according to the article some of the drivers will be running the brand new buggy at CRCRC later this week...

Possibly! I have been trying to get one to run at the nitro CRCRC, but they are not available yet.... From the rumors that I have heard, there are some brand new designs incorporated in this new car and I can't wait to see it!

Is this supposed to be Duratrax's first race level vehicle? Or is it simply a Entry Level RTR Electric 1/8 scale?

I would guess the latter...especially now that Hobbico has Durango for a race brand.

Since some of the Hobbico team members are planning on racing the car at CRCRC (according to liverc.com), I would think that this would be their first race level vehicle. Also looking at some of the other products that Duratrax has been releasing lately, like their tires, Duratrax is moving more and more the race side of things, as well as providing their RTR vehicles. Time will tell...

But if your spending 50k or 70, wouldn't really rather have a BMW or Mercedes? I know I would..

The body clips in that area are going to be a huge PITA.
