The D1 is truly a fast-easy to drive car. The position of the batteries is ideal and in stock or Mod the car can fly.

It is 100% true that you will be more consistent driving a D1 over a Tub chassis Tc3.

Yes, I drive both the D1 and D2 and I can tell you they're both very stable, fast cars to drive. The D2 has a shorter wheelbase which gives it more steering so it can be a little harder to drive (especially on carpet). How much more depends on your skill level. Personally, I've been pleasantly surprised at how easy my D2 has been to drive. The car hasn't felt twitchy to me at all. I've been racing it in the 19T spec class for the last month and have had some great results. It's shorter driveshaft also helps the car accelerate more quickly than stock. The shorter shaft has less twist under load. Both are great cars. I definitely recommend

I would not recommend the D2 for high bite carpet and foam tires. It has unreal rip and snap off the corners , but the cars just to stuck at apex and it wont carry the speed. I personally think its an asphalt/rubber tire kind of car.

ray i gotta tell you that the d-2 with the front and rear adjustable wheel base is drop your jaw fast we are also able to change the roll center up front also because the bumper is moved forwared so the the f-0 and f-2 blocks can be shaved with out interference from the mounting of the bumper.

we have played with this over at rpm and the car is silly fast!

New toys-very cool!!! Great idea with the front bumper moved forward. I lowered my front roll center once with a dremel-what a PAIN that experiment was!!

Default FSEARA Race #4

We just got back from Jack's Hobbies in Ocala for FSEARA Race 4 and it has been a LONG WEEKEND! lol. I had some trouble in the first heat and couldn't get the car dialed in, but Art helped out and the car was back together before what would've been round two and then... the rain came. We didn't get to run all three heats of qualifiers and I had a problem with my steering in my second heat and ended up qualifying dead last in the C-main (26th). I ended up running 1st and 2nd all through the main. I was in the lead at the end and the CVD popped out on the last lap! I ended up in 2nd, not too bad. I'm actually almost glad I wasn't in the B because there was some pretty big wrecks in that one. lol. I'm looking forward to running again next weekend at speedline. The car is absolutely dialed! t.a.f.n.

Both Toni and Hector looked great with thier Warpspeed Demon rides. Toni battled most of the main with another Warpseed Xray Driver... Rain or not... was a great race for Warpspeed.

Default Question?

Was there a WarpSpeed chassis Prototype made for the MR4TC-SD? Could someone please post a picture?
Thanks!

Peace and Happy Racing!

Had a great time this weekend at Jack's Hobbies in Ocala for FSEARA Race 4 (even though I was sick and it rained on Sat.).
I qualified 8th in the A main in Novice, after getting caught up in a BIG wreck one of my ball cups popped off thanks to a helpful turn marshall popped it back on I managed to work my way up from last to finish 4th.
