have you ran these yet? i bought several sets for my 950 and the wheel itself seems very soft.i have not had a chance to try them yet. my concern is with the soft wheel it might affect the overall hardness of the tire and a 35 shore tire may respond like a softer one. is this possible?

Not sure yet. I need to start running sedan again and then it's up to OFNA.

If not, I'll definitely be there to watch. It's only 10 minutes away from home.

Roniel,

These tires fit the Mugen MRX-4R? If so how much per set of front and rears?

Will have some at the Sour Groups race?

The new Serpent wheel (pictured in Paolo's post) are not soft. The new wheel is light and very strong.

i have the jaco and elligi side by side. the jaco wheel is much softer than the elligi. it takes maybe half as much pressure to bend the wheel as the elligi's. i am not concerned about them breaking. if anything they will break less because they give more. i was curious if the extra softness of the wheel will make them act like a softer tire and if i should use a harder tire for the same result.

i ran the tires this weekend on a 950. they do act a bit softer than the same shore elligi's. maybe 2 or 3 shore softer. they held up great. no chunking or any ungluing. the wear was very good also. an excellent tire imo.

sedanaddict:

Run the 38 shore, normally you run 35 anywhere but with the jaco rubber i would recomend the 38 shore plus the harder you are able to run the better(less ware)...
