Need new equipment
Hi all,
I've been out of the scene for a long time and I want to do some minor upgrades. I have a G10 ESC, 2400 battery packs, 6 turn motor. I want to rip it all out for a brushless system with batteries that will last a while and a motor which goes a lot faster than the 6 turn. Any recommendations?
Thanks

I have no problem buying separately, I just don't know any of the products on the market..it's been so long. Which battery pack systems are the best these days? Which esc/motor combo is good..I'm not racing, I just want something quick and fast

The majority of us on this forum are racers, so we pretty much all use sensored systems. If you aren't racing, you can get away with sensorless, which is usually a bit cheaper, but I can't really recommend any sensorless systems, because I don't use them. The only ESCs I would personally recommend for use with a low turn mod motor, would be ORCA vx, Orion R10 pro or Hobbywing v3.1

The Orca VX and Hobbywing v3.1 ESCs are kinda the ESCs to get at the moment.
The Turnigy Trackstar motors are stupid fast. You can pick up a sensored motor for about $35 after shipping brand new. They perform every bit as well as $95 motors.
You could also look into the Turnigy Nano-tech 2s LiPo batteries. Great value as well. Their 6600mah batteries are actually very good.
