So my Facebook feed is blowing-up with news about RevTech's new 17.5 Kill Shot motor. Says it won't be available until April 18th, and still nothing about whether or not its even ROAR legal.

Tim, do you know if this motor will be allowed? Do you have any inside scoop?

Jeff,

I have not been told either way....

But if it is legal, they will have enough for everybody for sale at the track.

That decision will be made by ROAR as to when they finish their approval process. But it was submitted and received by ROAR on April 2nd (per tracking and email verification). Once it has passed the tear down process they do it will then be checked for availability. If it passes that test it will be listed as approved on the original received date. At least this is how ROAR explained it. Once its passed ROAR has been pretty quick to get the site updated on the new Motor section lately.

Putting this out to see if anyone knows anyone at LIVE RC? We have been trying to get a hold of them for some time now to see about having them cover our race and have not been able to get a hold of anyone. If anyone can get a hold of them to facilitate this that would be great. They can Contact Tim Potter or Myself.

Hey Ken --- I'll be bringing fans. I might need to build up the connector in the pits, but i should have at least 15-20 of them along with Nikita outdrives for XRay TCs. These Russian touring cars are keeping me pretty busy...
