Default Graupner transmitter X-8E

There are ads in the mags for this transmitter and a charger they make. But when you go the site openhobby.com any link you click on takes you back to the home page.
Looks like Graupner's headquarters are in Germany. Dont want to say they are made in Germany cuz everthing nowadays seems to be made in Asia.

But the transmitter looks cool wondering pricing and reviews seems like another flysky but just trying to get info on it.

Go to openhobby.com but the website does not work... anything you click on takes you back to the home page

Just found this site listing them for sale with pricing, but none in stock.

http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/201690/

I'm EXTRA interested now as I just noticed that my ESC supports the telemetry!

Hi did you check their website in the USA, Look at this link: http://www.v-eastonline.com or just put Gruapner usa in your web brower and see what you get. I dont see cars listed on their site so maybe you can not get it. But it is worth the try.
Good Luck

The Graupner X-8E is not due out until the middle of November. Graupner went bankrupt and was bought by SJ out of Korea. The radio looks awesome...

I got this reply the other day.

Hi Wes,

thanks for your kind message.

We will open our webshop and US entity in about 4-5 weeks with a lot of already available products.
The X-8E is scheduled for early beginning 2014, X-8N and X-4S will be availabe before.

With best regards

Just a bit of news... I got to see a working prototype of this radio at the Ontario AMA show this past weekend. It looks great, and the UI is pretty well laid out. The representative I spoke with said that it should ready for sale around April.

Hi, I have it for a week now. Seems to be of a very good quality. The documentation is not perfect though - some things work slightly differently then described in the manual. What specifically you are interested in?
