This setup is based on Freddy's ETS setup.
If the track is bumpy, you should try rear symetric damper setting (it's on freddy's poland setup).

I just wanna say that I'm so happy with this car, first because it is awesome, but also because we have an awesome community of drivers, with differents skills, sharing what they know and/or experiment and making this car more interesting, day after day...
So thank you guys!
And keep it the good work!

Agreed, based on my calculations, the distance is quite a bit too far. I was never very good at trig, but the Interwebs have told me it should be around 3/4mm for 1 degree of sweep and 1.5mm for 2 degrees. Here's how I calculated it:
Of course, these could be totally wrong, so maybe someone with more skills can double check. ;-)
Code:
r = 44mm (distance between arm mount locations) length of circular arc = degrees * (PI/180) * r 1 degree -------- 1 * (3.141/180) * 44 = .7679mm 2 degrees --------- 2 * (3.141/180) * 44 = 1.535mm
This guy's car is DIALED. Bringing back shaft drive here in Northern California and making it look FLOSSY.
Folks, take note. Totally legit.
Sidenote: Trigonometry????? Really?!?!? Crazy.

I'm using the car without bars also on asphalt, and I really like the car, not inconsistent, but I think it's the entire setup to be considered. I used almost identical setups for two different tracks with good results, but always with the same type of tires (Sorex XG36-SY).
This is the last setup used in the second race of the UISP Italian Championship (unofficial national championship) in Stock 13.5 class. Very bumpy asphalt track, with medium grip (sugar-water). For bumpy track I tried asymetrical damper setting in front and symetrical rear, they worked well!
TQ for my A700, in the finals too many collisions on the first corner (not sanctioned) ruined my race and relegated me in fourth. The only final in which I turned the first corner without damage I set the track record for 13.5 class.
Very sorry for the result of the race, but otherwise very happy for the exciting performance of my car.

Well, I finally managed to break a part on the A700 last night. 'Break' might not be the best word choice here. The universal ring popped off after an encounter with the board causing the front universal to seperate. I eventually found the front U bone, U ring, bushings, and 1 of the 2 U-joint cross pieces all intact and in working condition. I was pleasantly surprised that nothing was bent, cracked, and/or deformed in any way. So at the end of the day I managed to lose a U-joint/pin. Unfortunatley, it ended my night as I didn't have a spare U-joint. Has anyone tried the new/revised front universal ring (A700-P20)? Does it seem to do a better job of holding the front universals together? I'll be putting an order together and will be giving these a try.
