I think the black colour is an illusion because the quality of the picture is bad ;-)
or a back-light... but no worry they are the right springs

From looking at pictures from Snowbirds, I noticed that Martin Hudy and others are removing the the screws just in front of the spur gear on the top deck. With this car not having the bearing holders like previous models, wouldn't you think that would cause the spur gear to possibly move? Have any of you tried this and did you notice a difference?

So wait...there are even more flexible options for this car!?! It already feels like a noodle compared to the TC5 that beats me every week (He is a great driver).
What exactly does flex do again cause I understood from a previous question that a firmer car will be faster.

And of course, the driver has alot to do with it too. I once saw JR Mitch (Associated off-road driver) drive a 1st gen TC5, and go just as fast as XRAY drivers running T2'009's and T3'11's. And that 1st gen TC5 had about the same of amount of flex as a concrete block.

Thanks.
Still you noticed no problem, for me to be shore i have made it
the same as T3 2012.
If you do it without screws and with topdeck 1.6 th this give the
layshaft the oppertunity to move upwards.
Hope you will not have this problem in the future.
