They can't go on top of the chassis, as that might interfere with the body and the optional graphite chassis stiffener.

Any thoughts?
put a battery in it and leave it in there?

I am also interested in seeing pics with a full installed electronics, transponder servo and all. Maybe the thought is to glue the ESC and receiver onto the battery door?

I like to remove the batteries from my toys, I keep my lipos in the charging bag at all times.

I'd try the ESC mounted right on the moving battery door. with the body right there, little chance of it falling out. Nice short run to the motor for wiring that way.

You have one? As far as I know the internal ratio isn't even released yet.

nice lookin car
I have the f109 and its running extremely well on carpet and asphalt. but this is what ive been daydreaming about in terms of rc F1 chassis design. Its on 3racing web site and there is a very attractive price tag next to it.
cant wait for release!

No worries. Get your Spur size, tire diameter and ESC type and mode (boosted or not) and look for the F109 thread.

$115.38... That has to be a place holder and not a real price.

The F109 is $99 @ the HK shops, the Sakura S is like $110 as well....that price would not surprise me.

Yep , and at that price point, there will be a space reserved in my rc garage for one. .............
