Not sure how it's not clear, they run a hand out motor for non sponsored drivers in TC amature and wgt is as it has been for years with 13.5 motors and expert wgt is open motors.

To me it is the "non sponsored" that is not 100% clear. So it's chassis or motor sponsor but you could go find a company non RC related and buy everything for you, correct?

Correct. You just cannot have any of their stickers on your car or wear their t shirt while you drive it.

Another great event this year, big thanks to Scotty, his amazing crew of volunteers, and of course all the racers who make the trip. Learned a lot, had fun, and enjoyed some great racing. Safe travels to everyone as they head home and look forward to seeing everyone next year!

Amateur drivers are supposed to be paying retail for everything RC related. I have a 50% MIP sponsorship. So I get their tools at half price but there are no MIP products on my on road cars. I am still considered sponsored by Scotty's definition.

Great event as always. I'll be back next year for my 8th year.

Another great event! New layout, tires and traction compound were a great combo and lead to some great racing. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks Scotty and crew for doing a tremendous job and running a smooth program so we all can enjoy Vegas as well!

As a first time attendee of a 'big' event, I would also like to thank the Staff, Tech Crew and all the sponsored (and non-sponsored) racers that graciously/patiently assisted me in becoming tech compliant and the helpful consulting/instructing me in some of the subtleties of the racing conditions. There was not one question or concern that wasn't answered with a less than complete or totally helpful, friendly response no matter the team that individual represented.

I am totally committed to returning to battle in the C Main's in 2015!
