I dont know about the SP2 body, but on the Mugen, the front cut outs are all basically the same, even the engine cut out is in the same spot, the only differecnes are the cut outs on the "bumps" behind the shock tower, need to be approx 1/4" futher towards the back, to clear the shock mounts, and you need to cut around the radio box at the back, and the mounting holes are in different spots slightly,
did you try and mount it after or before painting? if you do it before painting, its fairly easy, just trim a little bit off at a time,
If someone else doens't by tongit, I will try and post a pic after work,

I trimmed it before painting, but for some reason I got it pretty badly screwed up somewhere along the line and it looks like hammered slug crap. I used to do mp 7.5 shells all the time for a GS storm pro and never had any problem, so I was really surpirsed when this one came out so chopped up. I'm going to get in touch with rgx and see if their CEN shell is actually for a CEN or if it's just their mugen shell sold for the CEN. I want a good looking shell, but more than that I want one that will keep as much dirt out of the innards as possible and I hate the idea of paying $40 for a piece of vacuformed lexan. Of course another screwed up CP shell and I could have bought the stocker.

as far as I know the RGX one is made for the CEN, and it will just fit the mugen etc . . , I think its got a bump in the back to clear the radio box and everything, I've never seen one in person thgouh, just going by what I've read,
I found the MBX5 CP actually fit better than the stock CEN one to be honest, I've never tried the SP2 one, but I know the Mugen fits like a glove once you know where to trim, I've got one really good one I did, and I just trace the rest off it,

I have an RGX body mounted on my CEN right now, and in my opinion it is the exact same as a Mugen Crowd Pleaser, except it has a small hump to go over the receiver box and doesn't have the raised nose. I eventually just cut around the receiver box because even though they put in that small mod it still hit a pushed the shell out.
I'll post some pics when I get home.

I used the Mugen body for the 1st 6 months until the SP2 came out. The Mugen fits, but the SP2 fits perfect. It is narrower then the Mugen body and keep dirt out better.

Gene, are you running doubled up graphite towers? How do you like the reservoir shocks?

The resivoirs eliminate the bladder, so they are super smooth and consistent, plus hold 25% more oil so it does not thin out in long mains.
Yes, I took a rear tower and cut it in half and made a front and rear brace so that there is no chance of breaking them.

shocks
Are the Losi shocks the same thread diameter at the CEN? It would help the Losi guys out for now if they could run those cool shock tops.
