If it came with a gear diff, it would almost have to be the new alloy one, which would add significantly to the price of the buggy.

Looking at the price range of current race level buggies, including the gear diff probably would have put the cost just below a Kyoshos rb6.6 high end mark from what I am seeing.

Fully understand the logic price wise to not include however.

Should be some showing up around these parts as there is a losi following.

Good value at the price with the upgrades that are included.
Just drop your SR driveline in the 4.0. Root says in the video that works.

I don't think the concern was whether he could still have a lightweight drive train...

Car looks good Frank, congratulations. I also enjoyed your video explaining the changes.

Almost double price than B6D. I have XB2, 22 3.0 and B6D the B6D is way more better easier to drive compare to 22 3.0. The B6D is best 2WD I've had have. Both XB2 and 22 3.0 has been sold. Never go back to 22 4.0 or xb2 17

After watching the video, did frank say the whole 3.0 rear end will drop in? Just wanted to see if I could use my dirt tranny that is on the car now. Maybe just buy the new chasis and some other parts?

I'm in exact same boat. Just finished my build, literally. Would have held off had I know.

The 3.0 SR is a solig buggy and will remain competitive I'm sure. Do feel it though, just like you.
