Pro2

reason (Dnt; jump on me for this! soem of you may like your Pro3s but I don't)

-To much flex
-Cheap quality
-needs to many mods to be good
-ugly
-HPI is going down hill with the newer kits
-Pro3 is not a good race chassis syockLack of parts
-support from HPI
-Lack of attempts to fix the Pro3 flaws

I like Pro2 better than Pro3. Hara's car looks very competitive (JMRCA), but it'll cost you around US600...

I had a Pro2 for the longest time, but finally sold it last summer in favor of the XXX-S.

I do not like the Pro3, the whole flex issue, and spend a couple bills to remove the flex issue does not interest me in any way. My personal opinion is drop both the Pro2 and Pro3, and go Losi, but hey, thats just me.

For looks, definately carbon fiber, but I think really a tub is a little better, depending on the design.

It is much easier to make a rigid chassis with carbon fiber, though with a tub chassis you can mold lots of rudges in. Tub lasts longer, and you can design it in virtually any way you want the car to be.

Neather,

Hpi sucks, Period!!!!!

crappy composites, machine screws in the bottum of the chassis, phillips head screws, no international wins in how long.......

hpi is good for bodies, and thats it.

If you want to argue with me on this, what has hpi won???? no national champs, no world champs?????

garbage, I know, Ive been a pro racer since 1989.......

get a real car if you want to go fast. if you just want to play, get a tc3 ready to run. If you want to win, get a losi.....

lap ya later

If I was forced to choose between a HPI Pro2 and Pro3, I would take the Pro2, since I'm a carpet racer and dont need any flex at all.

From a more personal point of view, then I liked the design and pictures of the Pro3 in the beginning. But when I saw the Pro3 for real, it simply dont turns me on. And I dont like the way HPI goes now a days, too many RTR's and toys.
