the 1/8 tires r for a totally different axle they wont are little 1/10 axles go with the kawahara they fit and you dont have to buy anything to make them work and you wont be dissapointed its worth the wait or if you want to make a trip i could sell u my set theyve only been on the ground for for about 2 minutes

Thanks man but round rock is a serious cruise for me. I called kamakazie and they don't make one of those kits for mtx3. I know I can put the wheels on but the rear body post are the issue im trying to figure out now. How do you like that JL red dot?

Tex you don't really need the 1/8 scale tires on your car unless you are running a highly modified .21 you can get 1/8 scale adapters from Wolfpack Radicals they are high appox $80 bucks the last I heard.

Thanks for the info. Im trying to figure out a good tire combo for myself and a thicker side wall so maybe they will last a bit longer. Maybe you know a long lasting availible foam tire I can get. Thanks...

nitro this is true but need and want r totally different HaHa,Basher i love the red dot tuned it crazy fast and holds a tune very well as for tires foams just dont really last that long but you could try a harder shore but you sacrifice grip for endurance if your just bashing around u may just "dare i say it" put a set of rubbers on it but the bigger foams will last longer than the others

RoadRash where did you get that engine from and how much dough did you pony up. I was looking at those 353R modified things but damn they are really pricey . Geared right what type of topend can your mtx4 make????? Do ya think???

i bought it off this website from a great seller godzukihop in the NIB for $200
im not real sure bout the speed thing its geared now for torque it reaches top speed in about 80ft and takes less than 2 sec. to do it but if i had to guess with the tallest gear it would probably 70-75 maybe

Tex in the event that you have to go up a shore with the foam tires because you need them to wear longer like for a 1hr A main you can compensaite for the decrease in grip by going to a lighter shock oil and a lighter spring. But you must experiment to get the right combo. The Kawahara's I have are 37 shore I usually run 30 shore because the track we run on is untreated I did some experimenting with shock oil and springs and found the right lighter spring shock oil set up and have the same amount of grip I had with the 30 shore.

Thanks nitrohead... man right now I just bash in parking lots and from what I can tell stifff front soft back is what is working so far. The car does tend to push on exit a little though. Im going to get some mugen stuff at a far off lhs tomorrow and if they have any more springs for my mtx3 then im getting them so maybe I can dial this thing in.

RoadRash is your 4 just as tuff as your 3? Remember I will be bashing in parking lots and will be around sensitive people who will try to push my a$$ into a wall if I challenge their wannabe pro a$$. Im not scared to play like that just gotta make sure that my car can withstand a good bashing. Anyways thanks for helping me out guys.

well i would say its not quite as strong but its not weak by any means ive hit the wall pretty hard and have taken no real damage yet but the 3 is just a tank i would not worry about gettin pushed into the wall with the 4 it should hold up just fine and there r a few things like the 4mm shock towers that will make it stronger

Thanks a lot RoadRash I just picked up a complete roller because my frame was tweaked from a crash. After I got it and started looking at it I noticed my chassis seemed thicker with more cut outs and beveling around engine area. Mine is a prospec and this was not. What 4mm shock towers you talking about? Do you have any kawahara hop ups on your 3 or 4. Who sells the titanium screw kit?
