I'm really stuck weather to go for the Ultimate or for the sport NU please can you recommend which to go for? Thanks
I have the Xi Sport Nu, from what I know now, I would probably buy the Ultimate 2014 to start out. You can get them straight from 3 racing for $189 on eBay. For the extra $80 you get all the upgrades, plus Ultimate 2014 is basically a highly modified Xi sport Nu. Most of the parts are interchange between the Nu and U14.

What's the difference between the ultimate and the 2014 ultimate? From pictures it looks like the aluminum battery holders, solid vs cutout chassis, spur mounting, and aluminum front spool/pulley?
(Mine is regular ultimate not 2014)

The 2014 has different front and rear bulkheads and motor mount. They also lowered the shocks by 4mm. Check out 3 racings site they have a pretty good overview of both cars. The original ultimate is more like the Xi sport. The progression of the cars is:

Xi -> Ultimate (2012 car)-> Ultimate 2014 -> Advance (2016 car)-> Advance 2k18

Do you know where I could find the main chassis for this car?I split the front of mine where the bumper attaches. Too good a car to chunk in the trash. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

Yep mine's been glued twice now. Wish someone would make an aluminum chassis for it. Love the car on black carpet. Handles great in USGT.

That's weird because yesterday they showed in stock. I checked the actual 3racing site. Must have gotten snatched up pretty quickly. These guys still showing stock.
