Anyone know the right size wrench for the Mini T motor gear? The screw looks like its a M3 screw with a hex cut into it. I dont have anything nearly that small so i need to order something that i can use to screw it down. Any suggestions?

Probably 1.5mm. Run to your local hardware store and see if 1.5mm fits

The 1.5 is way too big. Its some sort of hex inside the thread of a M3 , It so damn small i though the thread of a bolt broke off.

I don't recall the exact size, but I did get this set for work on the Mini-T:


I think it was the .9mm that fit but just get a small set like above and you'll covered.

When I got my mini-t, it came with a plastic press on pinion. I had bought the trinity pinion set which used a .035" Allen I believe.

Another good option would be to drill and tap the hole for the set screw so it will use the bigger set screws and not worry about stripping the hex when loosening or tightening.
