OK WHAT did the "little birdie" tell you? Inquiring minds want to know.

I.E. "Little Birdie" is a common industry term to protect the industry source who needs to remain nameless. Most commonly used by Computer Industry types who like to push the limits of the NDA's they signed when they blab about new hardware coming down the pipeline well before the release date (NDA is Non Disclosure Agreement)

And you keep distracting me with awesome non VTA stuff like the 2K10 Camaro and that sleek Alfa Romeo.

I could tell you, but there might be a hit put out on me if I did. Plus, I wouldn't ever get more information from said little birdies.

I would be happy if we could get HPI to do a roller with VTA tires and wheels (and maybe a discount coupon for one of their fantastic VTA bodies in the box). Much cheaper than buying the 69 Camaro and chunking the stock electronics.

I have never seen ANY Javelin body in any scale in the 28-odd years I have been playing with R/C cars. Have any photos of that one?

I may have remembered that one. I think someone might have been pulling your chain. There have never been any AMC products that I can recall, by any body manufacturer, unless you include the Gremlin Modifieds some of the east coast guys were hand making for dirt ovals back in the early 80s.

They may have made a replacement body for the Kyosho Javelin (Optima), but not the AMC/AMX.
