Speedtech is getting them in end of this week or first of next week. They got a bunch air-freighted straight from Tamiya, so they don't take the extra month.
I just got the word from him about an hour ago. Jeff is really busting his hump to get and keep the cool stuff in stock.

The layout of the center shaft is like the new Xray T2008. I have heard that there is an issue with the T2008 where the battery touches the pinion and spur gears.
Gizmo, can you perhaps show a picture of the 64P and 48P gears setups with a battery installed?
Also, is that 48P spur gear you have installed a special one, or is it just a regular one? Did it fit without issues?

Thanks for the pics Gizmo, that has eased my mind. Here is a pic of the Xray T2-008. The person had to flatten the battery bar, and even then can only get the pinion to mesh with about 2/3'rds of the spur.

The batteries are what they call 'walking the thin rope' ...
Looks like a nice car. But I probably still stick to my 415MRE. Lacking the races in my local scene to rander a change.
