BD-5WC is a conversion kit that includes all the parts needed to convert bd5 to world spec, best to get one of these kits if possible rather than buy the parts in pieces.

Default BD5 WR

Hi,

As you can see the new BD5 world will be on selling in Spain...you can do a pre-order...

So that information that this kit is only for japan market is not correct:

Does anyone still run the bd5p chassis? Would you like to share some setups?

I got good news from Yokomo Japan about BD5WR.

There are many inquiries about BD5WR from the foreign countries, and Yokomo released BD5WR world edition it on a limited offer.

The contents of the kit.
BD5W kit with
High traction main chassis
Servo Mount
Gear Diff
Front solid axle
65800 yen

Front one-way is not included in the difference with Japanese edition.
Thanks

Hello,

Do you have the servo mount part number?
I want to buy the new chassis (the flex one) but I need to know the servo mount part number.

Best regards,
Hugo

Help...I'm considering the BD5 to run on carpet (13.5/17.5) only.

Which version should I go with? Where should I buy it? Where do you all get parts? Is the car good when compared to the current TCX,TC6, T3'11, Photon ect.? No one runs the car here in western Canada so, I've gotta be sure before I jump into it. Thanks for your help all.

BD5W or BD5WR . R version exit with the gear diff and an high grip chassis. Martin at the ETS was running in these conditions and i think he can give more info and also his performance has been great.
you can find everything oversea to Hobbyhaven (MY) and some other shops there. Ask before to buy that you will receive a kit with the front spool.

bye

Thumbs up

I tried the new chassis with the worlds top deck today and must say I am very happy with the car. I hope the car handles as well at the up coming Nats.

Hopefully I will get around to taking a picture over the next couple of days.

Regards,

Calvin.
