Bearing Oil
#2
i like the "Dry Ice" it works real well and it has no residue to gather dirt . If your bearings are getting gritty, it would be better for your car just to replace them with new ones. When you clean a bearing it will work good the first time, but the bearing will never be as smooth as a new one. Just my $.02

Dan's Banana Lube in my opinion is the best. I've tried about everything in the last 15 years and have always gone back to it. Plus it smells like bananas!
If you aren't running in dusty or muddy conditions, use metal shielded bearings and they will actually get faster as time goes on. Just clean them with motor spray, then stick them on the end of a pair of needle nose pliers and spin them. If they feel a little notchy or gritty reclean them. Do this till they feel smooth. If you can't get them to feel smooth, toss them. Once they are smooth just lay them flat on a clean cloth and put a good dose of oil on them and let it seep in.
