Default D1W\B AND D2 W\B

I JUST BOUGHT A D2 AND HAVE BEEN READING YOUR POSTS ON THE D2 AND AM WONDERING HOW MUCH SHORTER IS THE WHEEL BASE THAN A D1 AND WHICH CHASSIS IS BETTER FOR ASPHALT.I NOTICED ALOT OF WARPS FOR SALE AND PEOPLE SELLING THEM TO BUY THE BMI CAR, AFTER BUYING THE DEMON I WENT TO THE BMI WEB SITE AND SEE WHY THERE BUYING BMI!!! NICE CAR I AM WONDERING IF I MADE A MISTAKE BUYING A D2 INSTED OF D1. DOES A STANDARD BODY FIT THE SHORTER WHEEL BASE?
THANKS BUTCH REGALIA

bmxjeff
i believe the d2 chassis is approx. 1/2" shorter then the D1. as far as the BMI being better i doubt that...its personal choice i tend to lean towards the Warpspeed because ive had better luck with it....i got the Warpspeed to be a little different at my track and low and behold i was faster with it then the other chassis and my now 2nd favorite car the Barracuda

i have a demon to.. the bmi is so attractive right now cause it is super low priced... like 120 bucks for the whole kit.. all of the other kits out are 175+ what i would do is keep the demon and get the bmi toplate... this will make it as rigid as the bmi....

Default Solid Front Axle...

What does everyone use for a Solid Front Axle (Spool) on their Electric TC3?

I know there is an IRS one, and an AE one, part # 1703, but no one seems to have the AE one, does it even exist? Has anyone ever seen it. The Nitro one is part #1704.

Thanks....Have to get ready for the Reedy Race....

I would go with the IRS one, or you can just take a regular diff and take out the balls and tighten the screw all the way down.

If you do that, make sure you reshim your diff or you'll grind the teeth off your gears
