Just learned that several people are running the XR10 with the 4000 and 4700kv G1 motors with great success. People are telling me they swear by that ESC for 4 pole!
So the cats out the bag now fellas! I can say with certainty that the XR10 runs the 4 pole motors just as well as the XR8 series does.
I was also informed that the XR10 has a 4 pole specific setting and will also cater to the new G2 cans, like the 4300 for example in full sensor mode.
Can't wait to get one now!

Yes the XR10 Pro can run a 4 pole motor but I was informed and under the impression the new g2 4 poles would only run in full sensored mode with the XR8 series of esc's. If this isn't the case I apologize.

Having trouble with my XR10 PRO... tore my car apart for a refresh to start the new year as fresh as could be, and when I installed everything back, my car went in reverse when I pulled the trigger and forward when I hit brake/reverse. While the car was being torn apart, the radio wasnt even taken out of its bag, so I know for sure, it was not messed with.
Tried everything from re-binding the receiver (sanwa mt4 radio system), recalibrating esc, changing the throttle channel to reverse in the radio trim menu, changing 2 wires in the motor (the esc manual said it wouldnt work with sensored motors, but I still tried it), replaced sensor wire, changed to another model in the radio...
The car goes faster in reverse (when pulling the trigger) than forward. I have always set the esc for forward/brake/reverse, and reverse was set at 75%. Its like the radio has had the trigger set up backwards. Motor is a HW bandit 21.5
Help!

He confirmed that it can and does run in full sensored mode, and very well at that with the new G2 motor. Said it moves with just the slightest of trigger input very smoothly without any cogging.
Here is a picture of his setup in the SCTE 3.0

edit - ah silly me, the drive frequency I'm keeping it at default, whatever the value is at with the *, infact I kept a lot of setting at default over than timing and whatnot, haven't really have the time to go though all of them just yet.
