Default NTC3 engines

ok i said i was going to get the serpent 705 but after reading almost 80 pages on it... ive decided its just to much car for my first. seems to complicated and diffcult to build as a kit.

so now its on to the more tame and friendly NTC3 (the also cheaper!) it seems a good parking lot basher but alot more and seems race capeable pretty easily.

the 2 local tracks around here

http://testfly.0catch.com/trackinfo/racedaymain.html

http://www.speedlinehobbies.com/pictures.php 120ft

Speedline has about 120' straight, Lakeland is 180'.

ok now to the question, which engine ?

RB Concept X12

Mugen MT 12

Novarossi RS 12 S5 Race

JP Racing XT 12

Rossi - Team Trinity R12 Pixy Black

looking for lots of quick acceleration to get out of the corners quickly. look at the track pics please, and thanks for your guys opnions...

If you've been running planes and helis, that would mean you know a bit about tuning motors, right?

I would stick with a NovaRossi based motor - a Mugen (MT or MR-12) or an actual Novarossi or any of the others that are based on the Rossi.

if u want more acceleration, maybe opt for a RB engine..
RB engines have greater lower end, perfect for small ~ mid sized tracks

i run at a tight track like the ones u are explaining

most guys at my track like the MT-12 and the MR-12

and one guy seems to be doin alright with the wasp. drone

but he does tend to loose in the straits, but his low end is close to the MT-12
