Would love to see some pictures of the car other than the servo and rear pod.

Really like the changes they made to the car but really wish they had done the same to the battery mounting system. Still a weak spot. Oh well at least the system I made will transfer over easily.

So here's the $64 question. Will we be able to take the new pod and put it on the EVO 2?

I asked Max Ma of Roche and he provided a list of parts that would need to be swapped in order to just change the motor mounts from a Evo2 to Evo3. it isn't as simple as buying two motor plates.

1x 210274 Rapide P12 EVO2 Center Pivot Mount Spacer Set, 0.5/1mm <-- Evo2 optional part that you might already have
1x 210279 Rapide F1 EVO3 Aluminum Center Pivot Ball Mount
1x 210280 Rapide F1 EVO3 Aluminum Lower Pod
2x 210282 Rapide F1 EVO3 Aluminum Motor Mount / Rear Bulkhead
1x 220218 Rapide F1 EVO2 Graphite Rear Pod Plate <-- you should already have this
1x 220281 Rapide F1-EVO3 Graphite Chassis Brace

finally you'd need the axle holder -- not sure which best works depending upon ride height goals--

240175 Axle Height Adjuster, OP Version (0.75)
240176 Axle Height Adjuster, OP Version (1.00)
240177 Axle Height Adjuster, OP Version (1.25)

Could anyone tell me the length from the bottom of the diff side (where it meets the axle bearing) to the outer edge hex hub mount? (not counting the axle threads)

I have an Evo2, and my son has an Evo3 - I'm not sure why you would want to swap the new pod to an Evo2. Possibly the ride height pills if you don't already have Evo2 option parts? Also on the Evo3, you have to unhook the side tubes to adjust the side spring tweak, as the adjustment is now on the top, and the spring carriers are very different.

I did put the floating servo mount on my Evo2, as well as the new top deck - I think it removes several areas that can cause temporary chassis tweak. FYI - the servo mount will move the servo forward about 5mm.

Plan on getting one of these. What spare/option/tuning parts will i need. Also does the xray gear diff work in this car? Also do most bodies fit on this chassis?
