A lot depends on where you live. If you're in the US, there are several really good online vendors. Many will ship outside the US too. I like A-Main Hobbies, Tower Hobbies and TQ-Racing. Without your location, I can't give any advice on a local hobby shop.

Tower Hobbies, Horizon Hobby, and A-Main Hobbies would be your best bet.

Also, check to see if you have a local store. If they are like the local stores near me, they will support what they sell and will likely be very competitive on pricing with the online stores.

You could try berlinski, HK modellbau, tamico, modellbau-Seidel.
they are all german shops and provide great service and fast shipping if ordered on the internet.
Hope this helps.

Online shops - I find stormerhobbies to be consistantly cheaper than amain for example.
Also +1 on tqrcracing - they seem to keep good stock of items which are hard to get elsewhere and process their orders really quickly.
If you want direct from japan - proshop futaba are great - they always email me really promptly n cant beat their prices. Or online - banzaihobbies.
Cheers.

I've used Speedtech, Amain, TQ RC, RC Champ Hobbypartz, Brushless Hobbies, Tower, etc. All are good.

Keep in mind about the comparison of A-Main and Stormer, Stormer's shipping isn't free. A-main does charge for kits however.
