In the mean time you can download SmartPropoPlus to play this with your Tx if it's got a DSC port, you just need a regular stereo 3.5mm jack audio cable. That's how I play anyways. Too cheap to buy the USB adapter.

yeah Im hopelessy hooked on the 1/12. Gave up on the sedan stuff almost as soon as 1/12 came out. Been running a 4.5 on carpet 2 lately.... But the LRP tracks are still my fav's. The offroad interested me enough to re up my subscription, but I was done with it the first day. I dont race off road in real RC life, never have, I can see why its popular, just not my thing.

Just wait till they bring in the real offroad racing classes. 1/10 2wd electric buggy and 1/8th nitro buggy.

In real life, I started my racing career with 1/10 rally, so both on and offroad. Currently racing F1, Rally, VTA, 2wd SCT, 4wd SCT and Nitro Buggy. Racing SCT is like playing roulette....it's OK, but sometimes luck plays more into the racing than skill.... Nitro Buggy is kind of like 4wd TC with jumps....the buggies jump the way you tell them to, not the way the wind blows them.

Who in real life races anything with a parachute deployed at all times? YUCK....

got my set-up up and running today! i must say off road is fun.... but running a 1/12th scale around a carpet track and nailing a clean new fast lap is somehow wayyyy more satisfying!

reboot your computer and make sure that VRC is the only thing running..... turn off the auto-replay-record....

Also, make sure your computer isn't in the middle of a virus scan....that can cause problems....

Something on your pc is consuming either a lot of memory or cpu or both. I assume you rebooted and tried again? open task manager, sort the processes by cpu then memory and see what they are consuming. If that all checks out, sometimes things like a bad cpu or video card fan will cause them to overheat and run slow.

That's what I run it on.
Also, from what I understand, one of the more recent patches fixed a Windows 8 bug and now VRC works with one of the release candidate versions.....not sure if it works with all, but most likely the one anyone would have right now....

Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying VRC pro for the sake of improving my TC driving skills. I was wondering if I could run it with these specs, on the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E430.
2.5 GHZ Intel Core i5 2450M
4GB of Ram
Intel 3000 Graphics Card

What can I do to make it run in full screen without lagging?
