from the setup I was given for carpet, I believe it was 5K, for loose stuff outdoors ball diff here is what I kept hearing.
being old school used to a ball diff anyway lol.
If its on Med to dry clay indoors i would for sure use 3000k or 2000k . With the 4k in my gear diff last weekend it was hard to drive in that condition traction wise inconstant.
I wouldn't say it was low traction .

I would consider it to be pretty low traction. Not a clay track, more dirt than anything.

If those are the same ones they sell at harbor freight, they're junk. The attachments wouldn't stay on, and they had so much slop in them they couldn't compress the circlip enough to get it out. I took a dremel to an old pair of wire cutters to make my own ring pliers. It took a bit of work, but they work pretty well.
Yes those are the ones I have, junk is the word. I did get them to work but had to grind down the tips. They are really sloppy and poorly made but will work if there is nothing else.
So what kind is good than ?
I remember seeing them a few times in the thread. They are made by Channellock. Here is a link to them up here but they are sold all over including Harbor Freight.

Do you know what MM holes the diff E clip have ?
I keep breaking rear v1 rear shock towers (a known weakness)...should i get the Revolution Design Racing Products Aluminum Rear Shock Tower or the dex210v2 updated shock tower. If the new shock tower is much more durable I will just get the plastic one if not i want to ge the aluminum one.
Basically I want to know if anyone has had breakage problems with the new "type B" shock tower.

Shimming your v1 towers away from the transmission case helps prevent the tower flexing into the motor plate during crashes.

don't get the craftsman snap pliers. Too much play to be useful.
