the new tekin software is like the mambas software with the cheat mode but it also has a turbo feature. it will be tough to tell but i think the mamba should be able to keep up. just need people to post there set-ups that they are running with the mmp and all find a sweet spot and continue trying to figure out the setting for the most power.

i have a question is anyone running the max timing in cheat mode?

also i tried to use the custom feature on the rpm to set it to 4k-7500k and it gave ma an error message and wont let me do it? i am going to run 17.5 with it what is a good setting if i were to run 50 on timing? should i run my fdr around 6 for a 50x80 track with this setting?

On a short track I would stay with 30 degree timing on the motor, and 45 degree timing max on the ESC. FDR at around 4.5 - 5.0. On small track you want more torque than RPM.

that sounds good but what would be the start and end rpm? i dont have a laptop to lug around to the track so i would like to get it right the first time . plus no one else runs the mmp at my track i am the first to try it.

well if 2day was any barometer, the castle still has its way with the tekin.

17.5 TC @ 5:1.

set rpm to track size. duo motor 0 Timing. 30 pills from the castle.

pretty sad when a 'TEAM DRIVER' for another speedo manuf and his father try to tell castle runners today that the esc is illegal. especially after pasted by it despite fact that they run 13.5 MUAHAHAHAHA.

already found out that its diff for all tracks and even each driver. u might want it to jump off the corner more than the next guy (even if u lose on at end of straight)....or u can use it as a traction aid if ur gettin wheelspin off the corner.

This thing is really really fast. I have no desire for any other speedo.

fair enough. sucks i wont be able to try mine until the 16th that is my next race. up here in wa we dont have a permanent indoor carpet track unless you want to drive a few hours to almost the oregon boarder. so the reason why i keep asking for rpm settings is because i have yet to figure it out i thought i would start with the 6k-7.5k for a 50x80 track and cheat set at 45 and ballistic 17.5 at 30(neutral factory setting) and fdr at 4.5

might sound crazy, but try retarding your motor timing on a tight track
