Just got back from the track. It looks really good only one little puddle in the rythem section. It is a little windy and cool. Should be a great for racing and the track should stay nice all day.
Hope you can make it Pat. Yes we do normally get more then 10 SCT on a weekly club race so it should not be a problem for today.

Talked to Jimmy today...since nobody showed up on Saturday the points race got pushed ahead to this Saturday.
I don't really understand why the turnout was low on Saturday. I know a few other tracks opened on Saturday but those are 1/8 tracks and I can't imagine that all the 1/10 electric guys went out and bought 1/8 scale nitros! The weather was great and the track was FANTASTIC. Aaron (and I'm sure a few others) have worked their butts off getting the track into shape. Jason built a new scoring shed and I noticed a little bit of landscaping too. I sure hope once Friday night races start things pick up.

Just to clarify what we're doing at Pit Stop over the next few weekends:
This Saturday, May 1st is the last regular Saturday race - again, it's for points. We'll start at 12:30pm - All classes can run including nitro. When we move to Friday nights we'll run electric only.
Next Friday May 7th is the first Friday night race.
The following day, Saturday May 8th, we'll run a Saturday night cash race for mods. Mod 2WD, Mod 4WD, Mod Truck, Mod SCT, and Mod 1/18th (haha kidding...maybe not 18th unless you guys bring em out)

Your website doesnt state May 8th as a 'night race', in fact it refers may 29th as '1st Saturday night race'. and now its all mod classes as opposed to a 2wd $ race.
the latter isnt a huge deal, but nite vs day this early in spring....

This Saturday is suppose to be warm and sunny so I'm sure the turnout will be good. No racing for me til I get moved are new place. Too much work with painting, outside work and so on. Few more weeks and things will be more back to normal for me.
